Moksha Yoga has grabbed their paddles and joined the Pull Together campaign!
Moksha Yoga BC (studios in Victoria, Westshore, Nanaimo, Burnaby, Vancouver, Kelowna) is inviting yogi’s and yoga studios everywhere to join in solidarity against the Northern Gateway pipeline.
Their collective goal is to raise $10,000 to cover legal fees for First Nations whose land is at risk.
“Getting involved in the Pull Together campaign has made the staff at Moksha feel ALIVE!! We feel, this is action that will directly impact the outcome of the pipeline.”
Moksha is also inviting yogi’s and yoga studios everywhere to join First Nations & all British Columbians in solidarity against the Northern Gateway pipeline, and Tar Sands development.
“Since natural alignment exists in the visionary work done by RAVEN Trust and Moksha, these two great communities that seek to prevent injustices being brought upon people and the environment are pulling together to speak out for people and the planet. To speak out for those whose voices may have gone unheard and for the things left unsaid. For the direction of our country, for societal values we wish to support, for what we are heading toward, and what we are moving away from.
We choose to Speak & Be Our Peace.”
We couldn’t agree more.
