This Earth Day, Bandidas Taqueria in East Van is holding a fundraiser for the Pull Together campaign. Anyone who has eaten there knows that they have the best tacos in the west. Now, here’s another excuse to head out to enjoy Bandidas:

Bandidas will be donating 100% of our profits for the entire day to Pull Together, the campaign funding three First Nations lawsuits stop the Kinder Morgan pipeline.

Students from Queen Alexandria elementary school will be hanging an art show from classes their teachers have led them through around Earth Day themes. Three classes will be participating – with students of various ages.

Earnest Ice Cream will be here with their Scoop Truck from noon to 3:00, also donating 100% of their proceeds to Pull Together.

Fresh Roots will be here sharing information about urban gardening and teaching folks how to make a seedling pot out of recycled newspaper.

Inside Green will be here selling house plants, helping folks connect with nature within their own homes.

Environmental Youth Alliance will be here, giving away plants from their Native Plant Nursery.

We will have DJs here in the evening to get our party on, from 10:00pm to midnight.

Parade!
