Deep Relaxation: A Yoga Nidra Workshop with Nadine
Proceeds from this workshop go to the Pull Together campaign in support of British Columbian First Nation’s legal fight against the pipelines.
Known as yogic sleep, 30 min of Yoga Nidra is equal to 2 hours of deep restful sleep. Join Nadine for this effortless, non-doing, guided mediation. Through a series of mind-body awareness techniques we enter an effortless state of being, where you experience deep rest and relaxation. Suitable for everyone, Yoga Nidra is particularly accessible for beginners to meditation or people who struggle with meditation. Prepare by wearing comfortable warm clothing. The practice is done lying down or seated if lying down is uncomfortable.

Nadine has been studying yoga since 2003. She took advanced 300 hour yoga teacher training in the U.S. with the college of Purna Yoga and recently
completed a 100 hour training in Yoga Nidra with the Amrit Yoga Institute.Working a high intensity job, she recognizes the importance of effective relaxation
methods. Her passions include sharing tools and techniques that help people find calm, peace and harmony in their lives, ….and chocolate.
Pull Together is a joint partnership between the Sierra Club, RAVEN Trust and Force of Nature Alliance that provides support to British Columbian First Nations who are fighting to uphold their constitutional rights through the courts. Through our many partnerships with community groups, individuals, and like-minded businesses, Pull Together has raised over $600,000.00 for seven nations fighting the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and an additional $591,000.00 for the court costs of the four nations who are challenging the federal government’s approval of the Kinder Morgan pipeline this fall.
