Picnics not Pipelines- Concert!

June 10, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Picnic and listen to the incredible tunes of Desiree Dawson in support of pull together!

Desirée Dawson hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. You might know her as the warm hearted and humble girl who won CBC’s Searchlight Competition, as well as rocking stages with her ukulele all around the world. Asides from her soulful ukulele numbers, Desirée has had chart topping singles in the current dance music scene.

We are fundraising for Coldwater, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations lawsuits against a massive oil pipeline coming through Vancouver- Kinder Morgan’s transmountain pipeline.

Check Out Desiree’s Tunes here!

We will also play games! Bring games if you have them- we have twister not tankers and are planning flag football and capture the flag! More details soon!

Suggested donation $15 no one turned away for lack of funds.

This event is organized on the territory of the Musqueam Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish people. More details on welcome to come!
