Road tales from Luke Wallace
Inspiring musings from Luke Wallace: he’s a humdinger folksinger and an activist with a heart of gold. He has this to say about his last month on the road for Pull Together:
“I think I just had the best month of my entire life. In the last 30 days I visited 15 communities, 13 of them islands. I got to perform 15 shows and helped raise over $20,000 for the Pull Together campaign. These concert fundraisers would have never happened without Pull Together, Friends of the San Juans, Sierra Club BC and the countless other organizations involved in booking these dates and finding me a place to sleep. My good friends Claris Figueira and Mary Lovell were rockstars for the campaign.
The Salish Sea is guarded by the people and communities that line it. We are so strong together and I know that we will stop the expansion of the Kinder Morgan pipeline and then continue to protect this coast from whatever our corporate-bought governments throw our way.
